Client MG
MG was seriously injured when he fell out of his truck and fell on his head in April 2021. The workers compensation carrier denied the claim stating that MG was not in the course and scope of his employment. The undersigned litigated the issue as to whether MG was in the course and scope of employment and ultimately the carrier agreed with Jonathan and accepted the case before trial. This led to MG receiving over $477,000.00 in medical and financial benefits. Ultimately, MG settled his case for an additional $350,000.00
Client CP
CP was seriously injured while trying out for a job in January 2020. The workers compensation carrier denied the claim saying that the client was not an employee yet and therefore not entitled to any workers compensation benefits. Jonathan litigated the case and was able to secure a $1,000,000.00 settlement before trial.

Client MC:
MC suffered a catastrophic burn injury in January 2017. The carrier was paying MC $350.34 per week, but MC said the amount seemed very low compared to the usual wages earned. Jonathan discovered within a week that the amount should have been $625.22 per week. Jonathan got MC reimbursed the $2,748.80 that was underpaid and the check amount increased to the correct $625.22 per week and continues today. Jonathan also secured burn therapy, psychologic treatment, psychiatric treatment, and transportation to and from all appointments.

Client DM:
DM injured shoulder in June 2016 pulling a concrete pump hose on a job at Ft Lauderdale Airport. DM immediately reported the injury to the employer, but employer never reported the injury to their workers compensation carrier and required DM continue working full duty despite the shoulder injury. Jonathan was retained 5 weeks after the injury, reported the injury to the carrier and petitioned for medical and financial benefits that DM should have been receiving all along. Shortly after receiving Jonathan’s petition, the carrier accepted the claim, paid for medical treatment, and claimant was taken off work which led to DM’s receiving bi-weekly checks from the carrier. Claimant enjoyed the medical treatment and financial benefits up until the date of his very reasonable settlement.

Client JPM:
JPM sustained a low back injury on the job in August 2016. JPM had a prior low back surgery and the workers compensation carrier acknowledged the injury but was refusing to pay for the surgery the doctors said the low back required. JPM sought and received the best possible advice from Jonathan and Jonathan set the claim up to be at it’s most valuable at the time of the settlement.
